South African homes are often built for airflow in summer, with minimal insulation and single-glazed windows. Heat escapes quickly, so the same heater provides personal warmth, not full-room heat.
Realistic Heating Expectations
In Europe, these heaters may warm a small room. Locally, they're best used near your bed, desk, or couch-warming you, not the air.
